Time , doesnt heal it but you learn to move on and live with it in there somewhere, when it happened to me , it took something out of me deep inside..

Not sure what you mean Robert, but Smartasawhip, You have to of been there to understand don't you? I was so blind and so in love and woke to a howling dog and a note on my table , and silence in my home, HAD NOT A CLUE.. 27 yrs ago, still feel ill when i go there , no closure!! Is there ever closure?

Bibble......I remember taking a shower and hearing a noise.....I was crying and the sound was coming from my soul. That's to the core.

bibbles, I think there is only closure when the person has courage to give it to you. It takes a coward to walk away with no warning or explanation. That happened to me. I agree that it takes something away from your soul. Life does go on and it does get better but I think that loss is with us always.

My greatest heart breaks were when my dad died and one of my granddaughter's died. I've never gotten over either, but time did ease the pain. Dad's been gone 33 years and my granddaughter has been gone 13 years. That's the only heart break I've known. And life tells us there will be more and each will be just as unbearable.
