What got me was Nick cussing at Jack for sleeping with Phyllis after all the times he slept with Sharon when he was married to Phyllis!

What got me is that Nick taking the blame for what Phyllis did. Here she wouldn't let Nick off the hook for kissing Sharon, then sleeping with her. But when Nick saw Phyllis getting so down on herself, blaming herself for what happened to Summer, instead of letting her accept the responsibility of it, Nick took her off the hook and blamed himself!! Then he turns around and calls Jack to tell him he's not interested in this partnership proposal regarding the Chancellor stock. Talk about a personal issue affecting a business decision! If I was Nick, I would've dumped Phyllis!!
At least it kept Nick from joining with Jack to get Jabot stock. You're right though. What goes around comes around.
Yyou are being a little hateful POW! LOL! Poor Phyllis was so lonely and desperate when she and Jack slept together that it just happened. Besides Nick was off playing house and picking out a house to buy with Sharon! So what right does he have for being judgmental! He had abandoned his wife and child and the maniac that Victor had brought back to GC just happened to follow the object of her obsession to Phyllis' house and saw them together. There are so many people responsible for what happened to poor little Summer and number one is Victor! He started the entire chain of events! But unfortunately MJ (at that time) flipped out and hurt Summer. Nick is being supportive of Phyllis and that is what is most important right now! The heck with Jack and the stocks. Katherine and Neil are planning something entirely different anyway!
Oh, I know you're right, Tufmama. I know Katherine and Neil have a plan. Don't know what it is, but I don't think they're going to give Ashley what she wants anymore than Jack or even Nick. So, the partnership with Jack and Nick is moot and probably always has been.
Yes, Victor started that awful chain of events....so many people were adversely affected by this.
Well we found out today that Neil and Katherine are only going public with 15% of Chancellor Industries! Tricky business plan! Very safe in these times. I love the way she invited Nick and the Newmans to be part of the special few to be included in their business plan. I was also very proud of Nick today when he basically told Jack they no longer had a relationship. He thanked him for the past when he was like a father to him, but that was then and this is now. So thanks, but no thanks. Adios!
When Katherine was talking to Nick about letting him on the IPO deal, I totally forgot her allegiance to Nikki. So that makes sense.
Me too! It does totally make sense!
She finally gave in to Jack after he played the "John" card. But he will find out soon enough about how limited this IPO is - when he finds out that there's no chance of him coming with a plan to get controlling interest in Jabot, the attractiveness of the deal will be lost.
