Oh yes. The joy of begining drivers. My 16 year old has his liscence now and is doing great but at first he was the same way. He got his permit at 15 and a half and the first 3 months were scarey!
OH yes, it is scary as they begin to drive! My Granddaughter got hers last year. OMGosh She got a speeding ticket soon after! At least, her dad, my SIL made her work and pay it off herself! Her Mom thought they was being too mean to her, but my daughter and SIL stuck to their guns on that one!
I got my first speeding ticket today. I turned 58 last week and have been driving since 18. Don't know if I should laugh about it or cry - $150.00 worth. I was clocked at 65 in a 50 zone. Can I blame this on my brain fog?

I remember never being able to drive my own car to go anywhere. It was amazing how they'd want to even drive you to the grocery store. At least I had someone to carry my groceries.
