They've Got to be Kidding - Right?

According to a poll by Public Policy Polling the majority of Republicans think ACORN stole the election... view link The poll asked this question: "Do you think that Barack Obama legitimately won the Presidential election last year, or do you think that ACORN stole it for him?" The overall top-line is legitimately won 62%, ACORN stole it 26%.

Among Republicans, however, only 27% say Obama actually won the race, with 52% -- an outright majority -- saying that ACORN stole it, and 21% are undecided. Among McCain voters, the breakdown is 31%-49%-20%. By comparison, independents weigh in at 72%-18%-10%, and Democrats are 86%-9%-4%.

ACORN would have had to stuffed the ballot boxes with over 9 million votes...IMPOSSIBLE!

But the liberals were out of line worrying about those Florida returns back when Dubya took the job, right?

Of course we were! We were told Bush won - maybe not so fair - and to put on our big people underpants and go to work on the next election.

I love it when the double standard is applied.

I saw Jimmy Carter say that that election was NOT won by Bushites.

Hey, Jimmy Carter - love him or hate him but KNOW that this was probably the most honorable Prez we ever had in this country.

Come on, Florida and hanging chads and whatever - PLEASE... Daddy Bush told Brother Bush that "my other brother" Bush HAD to win and you have to help. Is this scenario so far fetched? I think not!

OK, so most of you think that I am nuts .... but am I? Did this happen, or maybe not, huh? I don't know about the nuts called acorn, but I do know what I think about all this. So agree or not - the surreptitious election strategies that we have in this nation are nothing new. And, how many dead people voted in this election or any others for that matter? If that doesn't work, then hang those chads! We love to criticize other country's elections but what about us?

The bad news is that even when we vote for 'change' we probably won't get it. I won't even bore you with the power corrupts quote - surely we all know it? ...pm me if you don't get it.

And, it's OK if you choose not to answer. I won't get my big people underpants in a wad either...ha, ha.

I think there are only about 15 self-proclaimed Republicans left so it doesn't take many to get a majority.

I guess it's just an anomaly that for the first time in history the exit polls were wrong -- coincidentally in Florida and the 5 swing states. And that Diebold, the manufacturer of the voting machines said publicly that he would deliver the election for Bush.

Some of us still have a retentive memory.

As to the polls, the remaining Republicans, the few that they are, have a very distorted perception of the real world, anyway. Birthers, case in point. Think Palin is presidential material, second case on point.

Assuming for a moment that it's (smirk) true, that would make up for the theft of the '00 election. That leaves us one down after '04. Now all we have to do is come up with a counter to the Sore/Loserman bumpersticker.

LOL GG.

What I don't get is there is a vast distance between a bogus voter registration card turned in by ACORN and a fraudulent vote is the distance between Earth and Mars? With all the checks and balances...
