If you think Jack and Janet are going to be kaput...who do you think Jack will end up with...Carly? I can't see Holden and Molly getting back together, even if they do have a daughter together. I also can't see Damian and Lily staying as couple for long, either. Eventually, Lily and Holden will get back together...just don't know when or how long that will take.
The ironic thing is this: Lily has been trying to get Holden to understand that Damian cannot be cut out of her life because he is Luke's father. When Holden comes back with Molly, Lily will be faced with the fact that Holden and Molly share a child. The only difference is that Luke is a presence in their lives in Oakdale while Abigail is living in California. If Lily expects Holden to accept Damian, then Lily should be able to accept Molly. If she can't, Holden can tell her "Now you understand how I feel." This might make Lily finally get what Holden's been trying to tell her all this time. Who knows, Holden may have brought Molly back to make this point.
