More unsafe JUNK from China!

If you read the description:
No venting hood required. Rotisserie kit is included for great tasting meat!

The use of a Rotisserie will cause some smoke in the kitchen so it will actually need a vent hood!

UL listed. I don't know how they got this passed UL if you read the following!

"Please note: use of both burners and oven at the same time is not recommended"
In NO listing for this appliance is there a full current rating (amps or watts).

The placement of the top burners could be dangerous if there is a boil over or splatter.

The cost of operation for this will be very high.

Wow Sailor, What do you think of the color!!!

It looks a lot like my toaster oven. It also has a rotisserie feature. The only difference that I see is mine has a warming rack on top and this unit has two burner units.

I think this is practical in a cabin or weekend apartment. It might not be good for everyday but it definitely has possibilities.

Thanks Sandl.

I only write these things to help you make an informed decision. If you wish to purchase this item, that is your prerogative.

I was teaching HVAC in Illinois for two years as an independent contractor. As an add in for the contract they had me also help evaluate small appliances such as this item. Nine out of ten were thrown in the junk pile. They were poorly made and unsafe!

I do not base my evaluation on Color but the electrical and safety aspects of the appliance. In the real world people may not have the correct wiring to take the load this will require. This appliance will take a lot of electricity to run it.

Part of my evaluation is also from where it is made. China as well as several other countries produce cheap knock offs of American designed products and cut every corner they can.
Ninety percent of recalled products in the past ten years have come from China.

There is also a difference between UL listed and UL approved.

This reminds me of the JUNK you see the hawkers selling on TV. Guaranteed for life, they don't say who's life? These companies sell the max they can in one quick burst, wholesale the rest and go out of business. That happens even faster if there are suits filed against the product.
About a month ago there was a big article on MSNBC about this and the testing done to show the consumer is being ripped off with these products.

Remember you get what you pay for!

Buy American....The job you save...May be your own!

I wouldn't buy it. Mainly because of the danger of boil overs.

I have never used a rotesserie, never had an appliance that did more than the one thing it was intended to do.

Having blown the circuits on our RV a couple of times, I now keep track of what I am using amp wise. I would strongly suggest that this appliance is not for an RV. We pull 30amps. I don't know how much this unit pulls but I bet it would use up a lot of that 30amps.

Buying only American made products is difficult to say the least.

I have room for a stove and a microwave. Don't think I need the convection oven....or extra burners.
