I NEVER buy store-made pies. Always make my own (my own crust, too).

LOL!!!! Wayne you know how we all are! We are a humorous bunch here! That doesn't offend me that is for sure!!! Funny!!! And by the way, if I want a pumpkin pie, I usually make it myself and like Sanibel, I make my own crust too! When I first saw the post I thought, oh wow, here we go...another recall! LOL Thought maybe they were recalling pumpkin pies. LOL

I'm with silverowl. I too thought there must be a recall or some manufacturing plant somewhere making pies for grocery stores in an unsavory way. Glad to see it was a joke...and a good one at that! It certainly didn't offend me!!! But, I'm glad we make our own pies and crust. Wouldn't want to take any chances this might actually be happening in a back room somewhere!!! LOL!
