What gives you Peace

Since this is the Peaceful Circle I thought I would ask what brings you peace? When I am feeling upset or tired of contemplating problems I like to work in the garden something about the warm earth and plants that ground me and gets my mind of my issues. I also like to walk the beach and pier near my home and gather shells and beach stones for my garden projects while enjoying coffee and watching surfers and seals. Listening to music or creating a craft/art project are also great stress relievers so what works for you?

Stroking one of my fur babies, looking at pictures of my family if they aren't readily available(lol)talking with one of my kids, being outdoors for a walk or just sitting in my yard are some of the things that help me find peace.

They are our treasures, I have had perts almost all my years, I don't know what it's like without them.
Peace also comes to me when I spend quiet time in meditation, that is generally what I am doing on those sit downs in the yard.

What a beautiful and peaceful view you have in your yard, it would be easy to meditate there though I would add a hot tub in a gazebo LOL.

Good question...I never really thought about it, can't even think of an answer...lol..I rarely have any type of stress going on in my life but when I do, it seems to hit all at once..(Usually my son or one of the stepkids does something stupid..) During those times, nothing at all will bring me peace, I just worry and pray about it till it has passed..

That gazebo is in a bad spot, not put there by us. We live (as you can see from the picture) right in or next door to a 100 acre tree nursery.
Marvelous place for walking. The family who owns it have since the beginning, over 100 years. Nice huh? Great family to.Anyway, it is right near the manure pile! Soooooooo, like I said not the best spot, dumb bunny who put it there...duh.

Thanks, it's a grey/blue, color of the deck. Also not put in right, no rail all the way round. But at least there is a deck. I would love to do somethings to make the out door space more livable, all things take time, right now I'm just oh so grateful to still be here.
