Pretty much of what you just said. I'd like to add my many friends on Eons and the regular world plus the few who don't like me that keep my blood pumping good. All in all,I had a darn good year and I'm thankful for it.
I'm thankful for family, extended family, and friends. I am also thankful for my Eons and Facebook friends, many of whom I know in real life.
I'm thankful that my son has found the Love of his life and married her in June. I'm thankful that my grandson, who is a senior in high school is looking to his future. He is a volunteer fireman, works at Bass Pro and goes to college at night to become an EMS technician, when he graduates next year. I'm thankful that my niece who is 16, who is like a grandchild to me, has found a fine young man to date who loves her and treats her with dignity and respect. I'm thankful for my ex-sister-in-law and her new husband who treat me like family and are very good to me.
Although I have had a very tough year in many ways this year, I am thankful for what I do have. I still have my home, at least for now and food to eat and even if it is a little chilly in here I do have a furnace. Many people have none of these things and are living in shelters or on the streets.
I'm also thankful that my health has not deteriated any more than it already has. All in all I feel very blessed in many ways!
I am very thankful for family and friends. I still have a job and can pay my bills and that is a good reason to give thanks too. I am strong and healthy and can take care of myself which is huge in my book.
I am very thankful for my daughters and my beautiful, sweet, precious grandchildren.
I am blessed in many ways and have much to be grateful and thankful for.
I'm thankful that my daughter has finally found a good job and pray God will make her path less bumpy. I'm thankful that my son seems to have come out of his depression and is enjoying life more. I'm thankful especially for his children, who light up my life, and I'm thankful that I have been blessed with a good job and have been able to help my children, keep my house and pay my bills. Good friends, old and new, have supported me through the last few difficult years, and I'm also thankful for them.
i guess i should be thankful i made this far. also for finding eons and the folks i have met on here. really good folks here.
Family first, for sure. That includes my eons family and all my good friends. I feel blessed to be where I am in life. Fret Not folks, keep breathing, and enjoy the many blessings we have living in this country.
I have my health, a good job, a fine place to live, and a wonderful dog that loves me unconditionally. My family is all healthy and happy. My good friend found out she was misdiagnosed and does NOT have ovarian cancer OR Primary Biliary Cirrhosis, AND she has just bought her first ever house and will close on 12/4/08. All my other friends are healthy and happy. I have many other things to be thankful for, but those are the first that come to mind.
