A "Thank You" That Cast a Long Shadow


Entering the cafe to received a free Veterans Day meal I was greeted by a young lady with a smile, a carnation and a "thank you". That carnation has last a long time, the shadow that it cast will last a lot longer.

Carnations do last a long time, but the gratitude given to our veterans should last a lifetime.
