Unfortunately for me, I never see anything I want or need on Black Friday and these days the discounts aren't nearly as deep as they were when the whole thing started. So it's just another day at home for me.
I'm just plain too lazy to partake in any pre-dawn sales but I've been the receiver of a few Black Friday gifts thanks to other people's efforts. My Tom Tom was bought at a Black Friday sale as well as some golf ball distance measuring device that was given to my husband. I'm happy when I find something on amazon.com and get free shipping and no sales tax.
The only thing I do on Black Friday is go to the post office with out of town packages.
At my age it is better for us when we order things online. Even on good days you cannot always get what you want at the stores, but can get it easier online.
it's a sad commentary on our species that our quest for "stuff" so dominates our culture...
Yeah, but this is for Christmas sales...for presents. ....
I don't do black friday and never did. My husband did one year and got three TV's really cheap, one for each of my older kids. But I would never do it. No way!.
i will NEVER do that...lol..
no black friday for me...i would rather get a root canal... :)...
I've never gone out early on Black Friday. I'm with greydiva- amazon.com has pretty much everything at a reasonable price and free shipping. Plus with my laptop, I don't even have to get up and dressed!
It is insane to go through all of that mess. I did it once or twice when
I was a lot younger.
