I'm here every day starting before o-dark hundred.
Working on my novel and the play.
Actually, the second play. The first one is out for critiquing.
So to pass the time I started a second play.
I'm nearly done with Act I

I was just thinking the same thing about you, SeƱor Toot!
I've been under the weather, which seems like forever... at least the last month or two, so I rarely get to any of the groups. Still lub you Toots. Kat

Have had a sinus infection and could not look at puter screen long at a time, still have 2 grandchildren, age 2 and 8 months 5 days a week, still caregiver 24/7 for hubby, helping son get farm ready for goats and setting up his business, keeping books for other sons small business - now that's just for starters! But I do miss being here with the group as I've grown to love all you good folks!

I guess I'm going to have to liven things up in here, huh, Toot?
We's here Mister Tootall. Just scared to send in our poor writing and get our butt chewed out. Maybe some of the braver souls will repond.
I am not afraid to send anything to you guys. You have never done anything but make me think outside the box! My writing is better because of all of you.
I have been having to work some >: (HA) So looking at a computer all day and then at night, my old brain is just too tired.
Today I have to write a speech for a Methodist Men's Ladies Day and try to come up my column which has a Thursday deadline. AND I am adding some paranormal activity to "About As Funny as
Digging Up Graves." It is a bit of humor movement (: Sending off to agents on Jan 1.
Have my grandkids all next week as they are out of school. So busy, busy, busy, but trying to check in every few days!
Me? Not doing anything really important right now and don't intend to start any such thing. I move when the spirit moves me, and then not very fast. Mostly, I've been recovering from this last time the Horse of Life threw me out of the saddle. I've been taking my own sweet time before climbing back on again. Sometimes, when I least expect it, I get a real urge to remember and write about last summer. As I do, I promise to post it here...like it or not! =)
We may not like that you went through the experience, but we do love to read how you tell it!
Hazel, why don't you write something really terrible, mess it up on purpose, so do have something to chew about. Most of these ladies that post have gotten so good, I have little to gnaw on. They didn't get that way by being afraid to show their work. Trust me, if you ever want to get published, the worst I could say would be nice compared to what publishers will say if they say anything at all. You have to have a thick skin, they'll often reject you for no reason at all, but they'll make something up. I've gotten rejections from different editors, each complained of exactly the opposite thing the other did. Go figure.
