Meat Loaf - crock pot
2 1/4 pounds ground beef
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoon brown sugar
1 egg
1 cup breadcrumbs or crushed crackers
2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 large onion (diced)
1/4 cup water
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Form into a meatloaf shape that will fit into your crock pot.
Cut a strip of foil and place under the meatloaf in crock pot.
Cut it long enough to cover the bottom and sides of meatloaf. (This is so you can get it out of the crock pot after it has cooked!)
Place meat loaf in crock pot and top with an additional 2 tablespoons ketchup.
Cover and cook on low for approximately 8 hours.
I like your Rescipe I have one to for
The crock pot/ I take some carrots, celery, small red skin potatoes and put them into the crock pot and then put a 3 lb. Chuck roast on top.put cup of water in with dehydrated onnion soup mix. I cook it on high for about 6 hours. It is very good. It has enough salt to enchance everything.
And I soak my white cataloni beans in my crock pot with 1 Tablespoon of salt for 24 hrs.,then after they are plumped up I rince them in a colander, and put them back in the crock pop and add one cup of water.
And cook it on high. And I put a pork chop in it, with a bayleaf.
and cook it for 6 hours also. the pork chop is soft and I cut it up and mix it with the beans and cook a little more about 15 min. more. Then serve it. It tasted really good the next day.
That's a really good way to do beans. Keeps your stove free for other things, great idea! A real money saver too.
