I'll probably go down to Mom's somewhere along the line but my plan is to clean also. Think I'll start upstairs and work my way down. For a while there I thought I might have to bring my mom to my house and I was pretty much ashamed for her to see the mess I have right now. BUT work full time, go to school, yard to take care of, see the grand kids and have 5 minutes to myself pretty much takes away cleaning time.....plus I hate to do it :-)

just finished paying my bills...wanta do some dreaded christmas shopping...working ot sat...watching last 2009 nascar race sun...need to mulch some leaves...house needs cleaned...having new roof put on starting monday...always something to keep me going...and need to go to the grocery store and get last minute items for my thanksgiving supper on thursday...hope everyone has a great weekend...happy shopping for turkey day...
You guys are like here - there's always stuff to do around the house. Well today Apq has physical rehab and I have a dr. apt and then blood after, this morning. This afternoon Tom has to fix up a dvd player to a tv and get them ready for the and I need to look for photos of 2 get togethers (the Nutty Buddy room) for a scrapbook I am going to work on Thanksgiving. My daughter suggested we bring the stuff for scrapbooking to do that day. Then we will pick up our grandson and then on Sat. my daughter and her kids will be here all afternoon. Sunday we have to start packing up all the stuff we have in the back room cause it all needs moved so grandson can put in a new linoleum next week-end. Sure can't wait to get that nasty carpet out of there. Oh I need to get some runners to put in there for the back door. Busy week-end for us.
Just called my mom to see if she was doing OK this AM, she admits to not being quite all there yet and afraid to do much so looks like I'm going down to her place over the weekend, doing some cleaning for her, picking up the turkey and bringing it to my house so I can cook it and take it back down there on Thur. I'd rather mess with it at my house than go early and do at hers. Know my way better around my own kitchen.

Yesterday at the board meeting for the Thanksgiving hot meal program the subject of desserts came up and I heard my voice volunteering to bring 4 pies and a cake to make up a projected shortage. So I think that I'll rest up and make shopping lists for Monday's bake off.
