Writing Tip
What do you love? What are you passionate about? What lights you up?
You may not realize it, but bringing your loves into your writing will light up your writing too. Passion is compelling.
When you pour your passion for something or someone onto the page, your reader won’t be able to put down what you write. Even if your reader doesn’t care a whit about what you’re writing about, the passion itself will be engaging.
If you’re wondering what you should write about, start with what you love.
Writing Exercise:
Make a list of your passions and loves. Write down everything you can think of that captivates you. This list can include everything from your sweetheart to a good cup of coffee. Create for yourself a built in subject list for your writing.
