My stress test
I'll get the results on Monday but today was a day! I had to be at the hospital at 7:00 am. The doctor overslept and showed up at 7:45 I had a guy ahead of me. While I am waiting for my turn to do the treadmill part I had already had the first set of pics done. I hear code blue to the stress lab code blue to the stress lab. 15 minuets later the nurse asks to speak to me in private and tells me the guy before me coded and they finally got his heart started and was taking him to I.C.U. so it would be a few more minuets. By the time I got into the lab my heart rate was in the high 90's to low 100's. SO had to wait till my heart rate dropped before I was allowed to walk. I managed 6 minuets on the stupid treadmill before I had to get off. I finally got out of there at 11:30. Not a day I ever want to repeat!
