If you're out there...my 63 year old friend who ran in the NYC marathon got an email yesterday. He qualified for the Boston Marathon in April...and he will be just two months away from 64 at that time. He is psyched!

I am always here.... that is quite the accomplishment, it is one of my dreams I need to work toward. I have been offered spots in Boston for Charity, but I won't take them because Boston is one that you have to EARN. Kudos to your friend.

He's worked toward this for a long time. He's done the NYC Marathon before but this will be his first Boston. I'm not sure all non runners know you have to qualify and be invited. His whole family will be going up with him.

I'm sure, if you want to, you will earn it one day too.
