Matthew McConaughey as Connor Mead, a celebrity photographer, who does NOT photograph weddings and doesn't even believe in weddings, meets his childhood sweetheart Jenny (Jennifer Garner) at the wedding rehearsal of his kid brother.
Connor Mead is a successful womanizer whose number of conquests have reached Hall of Fame levels, but his "romantic heart" is still bush league.
With the help of some friendly Ghosts, he learns the error of his ways and ends up with his girl, Jenny, who likes to cuddle. Connor has saved that old childhood photo of Jenny, proving that behind every heartless stud, there is an inner romantic child trying to grow up. (Barf!)
Dickens would not like the treatment of his story. I didn't like it!
But besides that, it had some cute scenes and the actors were talented enough to make this story (almost) come alive. If you have low expectations, you will not be disappointed.
