Or stock up on sweet potatoes, in my area at least, on sale. Sweet potato pie is so close to pumpkin it's hard to tell the diff.

I cook up pumpkin; I don't need that canned stuff.
I always make my pumpkin pies from scratch....ing the freezer door at Food Lion so probably will not care
thats because there goin to start selling them in plastic jars!
