I haven't figured out what I am going to do for Christmas this year. I may have to skip it. I have way too many to buy for and I would imagine anyone with combined marriages is the same way. With 4 sons and 11 grands and their wives, it's just too much.
Ok, this is going to sound really weird. One year I gave everyone a share of stock. I have also given one once bars of silver to the grands for their birthday. I may do that for Christmas. Not very exciting, but trying to use the opportunity as a learning experience too. Just a $10 iTunes card may do the trick.
I need to call car insurance companies today. Shopping for a better price. I lead a boring life. (choke)

Rain, kind'a dark. We're off to a "Tri County" meeting tonight, it's a organization of local politicos (like me & Linda). Always a good meal and our state and county politicians are usually there.
Linda has done a bit of the shopping. I'm all for buying for kids up to when they get married but after that it's kind of ridiculous but we buy for everyone what do you get for 40 year olds? Worse they get us gifts and really we lack for very little unless it's very expensive. Last year they got us gift cards for eateries which was ok. One year I got $$ to spend at Amazon.
We put up outside lights yesterday.
Have not done much thinking for Christmas--birthdays here and then Thanksgiving. Have some of my family coming down so will be busy cooking. Weather here has be beautiful for the almost a week now. Love this cool air. Even have opened the doors and that is very unusual for us LOL Daughter and grandson went out to eat so I am on her computer untill she gets back home. Mine should be done no later than Monday--he was kinda backed up. Will find out tomorrow what the problem is, or I hope to find out. Have a good evening everyone.

My goodness, TSP, lights up already. I have for years wanted to get rid of this whole gift thing. I think we should just give a card, with what we wish for the individual person. Yup, I have those 40 year ilds and have no idea what to give them.
Ok, the calendar idea I have mentioned before, with all the important family dates on them, is still my favorite gift to give or receive.

We are not giving to the grown ups this year. Just all the little ones. That means 10 of them. 9 grands and 1 great grand. We have several things, but stumped on 2 of the kids. One is 4 and the other is 8 going on 13! These are the tweens. The 4 is no longer a toddler, but yet not a big girl and the 8 year old has so much stuff now I don't have a clue what to get him. I told mom she will have to go shopping with us to get those two theirs. We ordered the baby's present today and the 3 others are almost done. Still have a few little things to get for 2 of them. In another GOIM they are doing am ornament exchange and I joined that. Got my ornament tonight,so now I just need to mail it out in a few weeks. Don't want em to get it too early. We've gotten a lot done the last few days. Even got a tree tonight.
