We have been invited to some friends home to share the day with them. I am hoping to be feeling well enough to go. I would like to spend Thanks giving sometime preparing a meal for the people who do hat have enough to eat, or homeless, or lonely..etc. That would be so rewarding..
Gee TLC...Looks like we are the only ones eating anything!
I'm cooking turkey, dressing, sweet potato cassrole, homemade mac & cheese and some other vegies, a pumpkin dump cake and maybe a pecan pie, rolls. The whole works. Then I will load it all up and go to my mom's. It will be a busy day. I have to work the day before and the day after.
I'm cooking for MaryLou and I. I purchased our turkey last Saturday as well as the makins' for dressing. I'm going back in the next few days and either get canned candied yams or sweet potatoes.
I'll probably add a few more things to the menu, but I'm still working on that.
We are having the usually turkey, ham, baked beans. green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, Pumpkin pie, cheesecake cherry pie. I am hoping to bake some cookies and candy but we will see. It will be my husband, daughter, stepdaughter, son and father in law. Maybe 3 of my granddaughters depending on their mother's mood.
have you ever fix a roast turkey with a football in it ? ans. the turkey will get a kick out of it . im having thanksgiving over to my daughters mother in law . before were having a thanksging dinner at our church . our new paster will be sworn in that day a special day for us.
It's just the three of us for dinner. I'm going to fix turkey, dressing, candied yams, spinach & artichoke casserole and cranberry sauce. I don't know about dessert yet - something simple, I hope.
So far, it's just my husband, and I. I am working that day, however my friend I went to high school with, is supposed to come visit me. We haven't seen each other in 10 years. Any ways I think my husband is gonna smoke a turkey....i might some tater salad, and baked beans....bout as far as my thoughts have gone....
It will be the 7 of us my mother and father in law, brother in law, my other brother in law and his wife. I do all the cooking so praying I am feeling much better SOON!
We're having turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, corn, greenbean casserole, homemade noodles, rolls, deviled eggs, sweet potatoes, pumpkin and pecan pie and jello. Now my mouth is watering!
