Rather convoluted discourse. Maybe there's a language gap. She sets forth excellent arguments for getting rid of the insurance companies, altogether...
Europe's mistakes? Why then is their health care so much more successful than our own? Government is there to provide the protection and organization that people can't do for themselves.
Our health care ranks 37th in the world, far behind all European countries and even some third-world countries.
That video was just a right wing statement. I noticed she did not talk about the problems with an insurance run health care system. Are the Europeians losing their homes because of medical bills? Are there Europeians dying because they can't afford insurance or to pay for doctor visits, prescriptions and procedures out of pocket?
How the right wingers love to come to the Obama group to bait folks. Go figure. They have nothing to offer themselves, so they try to poison the ideas of those who do.
ps: I have friend in the U.K., France, and Canada. They all were born in the U.S. All of them, no exception, rave about how much better health care is there than here. Just saying.
My opinion is we are behind in health care costs...
Don't copy Europe's mistake!!!! Are you insane. Their system makes us look primitive or did you miss the segment on the Newshour.

A letter from a local paper? See what they are saying about the Medical Care in Norway?
Song of Norway
Editor, Daily News:
On Sept. 3 we were ending a visit to Norway, where we have family and have visited often since 1983.
I developed leg pain and my cousins took me to the emergency room in Oslo. My caregiver was an intern and his assistant a nurse trainee.
The nurse took blood with no gloves and without cleaning or sterilizing my arm. I had to help her find the vein.
This three-hour visit ended at 12:30 a.m., with a promise of lab reports by 4 a.m.
At 8 the next morning, my cousin called for a result and discovered no threat of clot.
We flew back to the United States that day.
My cousin has been fighting a staph infection for 16 months. His wife is struggling with an undiagnosed malady of full-body pain. They will probably both come to the Mayo Clinic.
The wealthiest country per capita in the world practices socialized medicine. The care they receive is not as good as ours, and they only have 5 million people — maximum — in the country.
Very fortunate.
