I'm so excited!!
Last night I put the last stich and last cut into the back of my daughters t-shirt quilt. This is a memory quilt designed with some crazy quilt techniques I've been trying to learn.
We're talking YEARS here to make this quilt. Things kept interfering. My house was on the market for a bit so everything got put away. Other events came up and other quilts had to be made. I truly believe Rebeccah was despairing my ever finishing it.
But last night she picked out the quilting pattern (stars) and tonight I will call the long arm quilter. I don't expect it before Christmas, I'm sure she's jamming this time of year. But that's o.k. I've already waited years to finish this thing. What's a few more weeks.
