Even though Joanna had higher scores, the popular vote for Donny and Kelley won out...Who would have thought???
I'm sure it is the fan base because neither Donny or Kelley danced better than Joanna. I wouldn't be surprised if the title is stolen from Mya.
i wanted derek and joanna to face off with mya and her partner(sorry having a senior moment)it would have been a better dance off final. donny and kelly, well i guess it has to do with the ratings and the fan base. next week should be dazzling.
mallard, i was talking about Trish Rehn who was the very first Bachlorette (and the only one successfully married). She was with Louis (who had a ponytail at the time) and was the first one knocked off on the very first season.
Well, apparently, it isn't just the talent that wins. It's the fan base and how many people call in.
They shouldn't even bother with the dancing. Just stand 10 celebrities on the stage and call in for who you like. That's pretty much what it all comes down to.

I'm so very disappointed. Joanna and Derek should have either won or been runner-up and are far, far better than either Donnie or Kelly. Darn!
Well sorry, but I don't fully agree with you Lady. Although the popular vote does scramble things up a lot, it has seemed to me that every season really good dancers end up in the finals. They might not always be what some of us perceive as the very best - but good anyway. (The once exception to this in my opinion was Jerry Rice as the runner-up. That man could NOT dance well.)
I was sorry to see Joanna get booted because it should've been between her & Mya at the end. But the 3 that are left are all very good. And you have to admit, Kelly is probably the most improved.
