How are ya

How are all my poodle pals today? Its sunny in Michigan, the deer hunting season has started and no snow. Go Bambi go.........should be a healthy herd if they get fattened up for winter. Means no walking in the woods for us for awhile though. So the girls have to play in the garden for now.
They love sitting out in the sun, its cold but the sun has a bit of heat left and besides I think they know it cant last long, so make the most of it.

It was a sunny day in So. Cal. We had the carpet cleaned so we went to breakfast at a local cafe. In the afternoon my granddaughter and I went to see a movie.
Brandy was able to bond with my husband. They spent the afternoon together. Brandy must of had a great day since she took a long nap. She woke up , ate and played. Looks like she is getting ready for bed.So night all.

We packed up and headed to Florida for the winter to enjoy the sunshine there. Dusty, my toy poodle does not do well in the cold Michigan weather. When it snows and is really cold, I can't get him off the deck to go to the bathroom. Booge, my miniature poodle, doesn't seem to care what the weather is like she just like to be outside most of the time.

My husband has many health issues. One being arthritis that prevents him from getting outside in the Michigan winter because he aches too much. We have decided that we need to spend winters in a warmer climate so we started spending the winters in Florida several years ago. For us, it was a very good decision.

I look forward to hearing about the winter season though. Lived in Michigan most of my 60+ years and thought I would always be there but have discovered I can live anywhere my family needs to be to be healthy and happy.

It's a beautiful day in San Diego ! Picture this; We fold a very warm blanket on the corner of the bed, THEN Tiffany arranges it however she pleases. It absolutely a hoot to watch her arrange it with her little paws. My wife has caught on the the "summer arrangement" is blanket left flat so air can circulate to keep her cool. The "winter arrangement" is opposite ends of the blanket rolled up with a valley in between. Then she sleeps in the valley, nice and warm. And I'm sure you have all noticed that poodles are snugglers. They keep pushing that little snout around until they finde the perfect place to sleep.

Enjoy your day and your fabulous pets.

I awoke around 5am with Bodies nose next to mine on my pillow.......she was breathing my air......I could feel the dampness of her nose/breath in the dark. I tried to move but had the tiny poodle Bridget snuggled up in my tummy, Bijou laying alongside. So I just turned my head a bit and Bodie started to snore. My husband had the other side of the bed all to himself. I lay awake thinking what a life the little buggers had....wondering what life would be like for wild poodles. The cat came up on the bed and lay on my chest staring at me, and her whiskers ticklinng my face........thank goodness it was almost time to get up. Sometimes its just not right somehow.

Palt, so glad Gracie is doing well!

The weather here has been just beautiful today, though it has gotten down to freezing overnight for the last two nights. It is very hot here in the summer, so I just love this nice fall weather. The "girls" enjoy the 70 degree days, too. They love to race around the yard as fast as they can go, chasing each other through the leaves. It would be great to have some of that energy!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving.
