Oh, I just don't know anymore. I'm in serious need of practice! Any takers?

I'm with Lyn...
Don't know where to begin.
Maybe a tutor is what we need,
in the form of a gentleman who takes the lead.
In the meantime, I'll patiently wait
until I am tempted with irresistible bait!
It's been a really long time for me too - so I'm having to search W-A-Y back into my memory. But I'm definitely not an aggressive flirt - just haven't got that in me. I guess I'm a bit shy about flirting, so it's very low key - mainly eye contact with a smile, accidentally move into his space & hope he'll make a move.
And I don't care for men that get extremely aggressive with flirtatious actions. If I'm in a crowd with people I know, I find that really embarrassing. I much prefer the returned eye contact, a smile, a wink, coming close to me with a light touch on the arm or back, etc.
It depends on the personality of who I'm around and how seriously they are affecting me. If it's just in fun, I can flirt with the best of them. If I am seriously attracted to them, I become a tongue tied blithering idiot.
Hey LadyD, you sound like my twin. I could keep you laughing for days with tales of just how befuddled I can get when I'm really attracted to a guy. One of my worst moments had to be when I taped the guy's fingers to a patient's butt, cause I didn't want him to see that my hands were shaking. And to make it even worse, I was so devastated by what I'd done I couldn't even make it into a joke, and I'm a BIG kidder. I just stood silent and wide-eyed as he struggled to get the tape off his fingers. Neither one of us spoke and we never acknowledged what had just happened, we just continued our rounds; talk about bizarre. All I could think was, "Please....kill me now!"
Are any of you lovely ladies still single ?

sgc52....I think all these lovely ladies are still single!
I've never been good at flirting, especially with someone I am really interested in, so I don't have a Flirting Style.
I must admit that if a man is interested in me, I prefer that he make the first move. He probably needs to be pretty direct about showing interest, because I usually miss those subtle hints.
Noooooooo ??
Your kidding me ??
For real ????
That include you ?

I'm with Redpattikake. No games... a man just needs to be simple and direct... and not too subtle, although always a gentleman, and never pushy. Easy as pie.
and sgc....how about you???? Are YOU single?
If so, why don't you tell us about YOUR flirting style!? : )
