Tonite is sort thru boxes of clothes nite. Daughter and her sis in law are coming to help me. Some will go to a consignment shop, some will go to the humane society's resale shop, and some I will put on Freecycle.
Ladies you are both welcome to my house to do both of the above. I should have cleaned the carpets before I moved in. Even though I have cleaned out so many clothes, when I moved, I still have so many more to clear out.
If and when I have to move from here I will have to do the same thing with clothes.....and I have already had a yard sale.....I am not looking forward to that.
every so often, i go thru my apt and load up boxes for good will and freecycle. am a pack rat.
I hope the carpets look wonderful after they're cleaned, Annie! Be sure to let them dry before placing furniture back on them.
I've been trying to weed out closets and storage units for the past couple of years! Still working on it. Good ole EBay is helping, but it's slow. My ex used to collect Scrooge McDuck stuff and some is going over well, but not all.
As for my carpets. I bought a cleaner years ago and do my own. I need to get them done next week while I'm not baby-sitting. Mom is coming for the winter Dec. 13 that plus I'll be moving furniture to put up my tree anyway, so it's good timing.
My house may actually be clean for a day or two! ;)
