This sort of thing would take many hours to accomplish in the darkroom, but took about 15 minutes in Photoshop. Even if you don't like it, you'll have to admit that digital offers unlimited possibilities.

I like the 3D effect, especially of the butterfly, but how does that translate on print?

Eons has squeezed this landscape oriented image into a vertical and distorted it in the process.

Wayne, would you delete this and I will post a smaller size?

TJ...is it on Flickr? If you copy the medium size code from Flickr it should work well.

While I find it artificial, I completely get your point about digital abilities and I do like it.

That is why I am a proponent of full disclosure in photography. If it has been edited, even a little, it is "artificial."

Now, I don't want to restart the old argument about whether digital photography or "enhanced" photography is "real" photography or not, because there is a place for anything in the art world.

Anything but deception.
