I know Kasnoff thought Simon would be the one to be there for Katie...I'm just not sure that Katie would take him back at this point. I guess Ben was just here to lead Jack to Mike in hopes to help Katie but ending up saving another person's life and family. Then Mike gives Jack the idea of finding Simon to be there for Katie. I guess Simon will be the one of the three old characters that might stick around....that will depend on Katie. Don't know that she can depend on him. She's a new mother that needs a full-time devoted father to her baby and Simon was not someone she could rely on to stick around. Brad was truly a good husband for her. Simon pales in comparison.

Didn't Carly run away with Simon and leave her kids for Jack to raise? He isn't good father material in my book!

Yes Carly did run away with Simon. (big mistake)....... but the kids were Jack's kids too.
