Hello Everyone
I haven't been on eons in several months. Thought I'd check in and see what's happening. I now have a house-mate. A lady that is only 60. God placed her in my path. As you all know I am what Emory Eye Clinic terms "legally blind" from Dry Macular Degeneration. I do appreciate all your thoughts and prayers for me a while back. This very nice lady does all the driving and such. I have not missed Church a single time since she moved in. We even went to my Browning Family Reunion in September. And last Monday we drove down to Hawkensville, Ga and I bought 2 bushels of green peanuts from the Hardy Famrs. We had a grand time boiling peanuts.We have lots of them in the freezer for family and rriends this winter. Ann is truly a kindred spirit. Thank God for Blessings and for friends that pray.
I do have one question, if I may ask please. Where could we go for a nice Christmas Celebration? I have checked Callaway Gardens and Stone Mt and must say it looks fantastic. However, this would be for a lot of neices and nephews, etc. So we are looking for something nice but not too expensive. As some of my neices and nephews are feeling the crunch of the current economy.
Last year we went to the Assemby of God Church here in Griffin and they put on a live misical plus, that was absolutely fantastic. This year they will not be doing it due to the economy. I was told the production last year cost 20K and I believe it! It was a memory we won't ever forget.
