problem with Lsas.Blaster.Keylogger

what to do, it has totally messed up my computer how do i get the fake off my computer. they want more money, i do not want them....is there something i can do to get it off myself??
can i restart will a new name for my computer? did it once. unfortunately can't remember how to do it. have Dell Windows XP/pro. not sure how much pro is still there.

please i am begging,,,,,this is really bad. can't fix it myself.

anything you guys can do??? suggestions....

When a person has this type of problem it helps to google it to find a way of removing the problem. Enter lsas.blaster into google a removal tool that you can download is one option and directions are given for manual removal. They also suggest several other possibilities including this list's popular Malwarebytes.

It sounds like Lsas.Blaster.Keylogger isn't a real virus, but a phony one that fraudulent anti-virus software "detects": view link The real problem is the software claiming you have Lsas.Blaster.Keylogger.

trish0653 is right -- if you put "Lsas.Blaster.Keylogger" into Google, there are a lot of guides on removing it. I'd caution that a lot of free purported virus removal tools are, in fact, even more damaging viruses, but there are also some legitimate ones out there. I'm not familiar enough with any of the sites showing up on Google to be able to tell you which are legitimate and which are scams. I've seen MalwareBytes mentioned as a possible fix elsewhere, too.

Actually, go to bleepingcomputer.com and join - it's free. They can help you remove it.

You can read about the removal here, but I suggest actually joining and asking for help with this because you might have other things going on with your computer thata might need taking care of as well.

Thank you all. i went straight to the source! the security tool i was using. they sent me a new activation number!!! TA-DA FIXED!! you guys are truly the best group here!
