If you don't know the faith how about just saying enjoy your holiday.

I always say Merry Christmas to my friends and Happy Holiday to those I know who are not Christians. I am upset by the fact that Christmas is not allowed to be. They are Christmas trees not holiday trees. Our children cannot sing Christmas Carols in school. Let those who believe sing and those who don't do not have to sing.

I heart the song played here the other day and love it.

It is so crazy not to greet people the way we have always done. It has
always been " Happy Thansgiving " and " Merry Christmas " or what ever
any one feels comfortable with saying. I will always say Christmas Tree
because "I LIKE IT ! Our country is still a free country,"Thank God"!.
I hope I did not offend anyone but it really seems silly to fuss over a
greeting, lets be ourselves. The Christmas Carol ban in schools is really
ridiculous.

Have a good day!

I say Merry Christmas or Happy Christmas to everyone.

I often wonder why some people here in Engand ( councils or local government usually) feel that others will be offended. I worked for a few years with some nurses who were Muslim, they enjoyed the decorations, cards and present giving.

They were always the first to give out cards with seasonal pictures and messages on.
They weren't necessarily celebrating Christmas itself but they liked the generosity and happiness of that time of year.

I didn't realise that other countries also were as keen to get rid of centuries of culture as England is. Nativity plays are evidently becoming performed less in English primary schools. Luckily for me they still have them at my younger grandchildren's school.
