MY thoughts on NYC terrorist trial
I am sure that Eric Holder and Pres Obama discussed this with many advisors both civilian and military, they have figured all the angles on this, and have made their decision and it will not be reversed. In figuring all the angles I am sure that Obama's agenda of being the GREAT POOBAH of world peace and being a CITIZEN of the World rather than the leader of the United States is his #1 priority in making this move.
The ramifications of this are immense, first their finding a fair and just jury, who can give up their entire lives for however long this trial will last, second is having a judge who can control these maniacs in the courtroom.
And any juror having knowledge of the case would be required to explain this knowledge to the judge.The judge is also likely to have his hands full I am sure that the alleged 9/11 mastermind will recited verses from the Qur'an, denounced George Bush's "crusader wars", described the process as an "inquisition" and declare his wish to become a martyr.
Then of course there will be the arguments over evidence and how it was obtained. And much of this evidence will be highly classified, material so how is that gonna work out ?? Will the jurors have to be put through the goverment screening to be able to hear and see this evidence?
My fellow Americans this will be an ugly mess, but perhaps that is exactly what this administration wants to happen.
So once more CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN for me has become .. I CAN NOT BELIEVE THE CHANGE THAT HAS TAKEN PLACE.
No matter what side of the political bed you are on in your heart look back on that terrible day and look me in the eye and say this was not an act of war that needs to be handled by a military court.
In all of your guts you know this decision is nuts. and for what purpose this decision has been made has so many facets to it that it boggles my mind. GOD BLESS THE UNTIED STATES OF AMERICA and who ever will end up as a part of this trial process.
