ROLL CALL NOV. 15

Goooood morning folks,

Time for your weekly check-in. I am supposed to be finishing up my week of 6 a day today and then tomorrow, go down to 4 a day.
It's not working as well as I had hoped, and I find myself cheating. I just don't think this plan of the doctor's works very well, but I'm trying to stay on track to quit in about 2 weeks.
I filled out a questionaire called a COPD Screener and my results were that I have the signs of COPD. Dangit, I wish I would have stuck to that quit last year!!!

I would like to hear from some of you people who are members but never post.
This group is for anyone who wants to quit or has already quit and wants to help us struggling to quit, or just needs that weekly checkpoint to affirm that you made it through another week.

So, let's have a big check-in today and let us know how you're doing, ok?

I am bad. Had a drag of a cigarette today. Stress got the better of me. Smoking did not help. It also stinks and does not taste good. SO WHY DO I STILL WANT TO SMOKE?

Wow Tropixxz, didn't know we were so close. I started quit on 5th of January 2009. Only 50 days to go for the first year. It has been a long and difficult year. My wife and I are moving to Virginia Sunday after ThANKSGIVING. MY DAUGHTER AND HER HUSBAND ARE COMING TO
pick us up. Not able to get around very well. 60 kind of kicked my butt. lol lol lol
God Bless and stay smoke free..

Marsha here: According to my Silk QuitMeter I've got 5m, 3w and 4d and assorted hours & minutes. I've also saved 1wk 5d 9hr 10m of life.

Redhead, if I remember rightly, you're about a week behind me. WooHoo!

I moved this past weekend to new digs. There were sooooo many times I wanted a cigarette! Such stress! Really brought home how we need to go thru many of life's circumstances smoke-free before feeling "safe." But, I made it thru without picking up. My lozenge use went up a tad -- but I didn't smoke.

I'm really sorry I missed last week! (last 2 weeks?) With this move, I've been very distracted. But I *was* thinking of this group. I WAS! ;-)

Stirling & Jim -- congrats! Jim -- good luck on your move!
Deb -- hope you get your "moment of grace" soon. When it comes, JUMP on it.

Consider yourselves Hugged from Oregon!
