Hi, I thought this group disbanded. Glad to see it hasn't. People on Oxygen many also interest you. It's not that we don't want the group, but especially this time of year, you get so busy that you just check the posts. I'll try to do better.. Hi Dragon, thought you gave up. Glad to see you here.
good to see you too . I did give up but got a PM about it so I'll give it a kick now and then.
Howdy,
I just found this group and decided to join. Dr hasn't said I have COPD, but whatever it is, I've been coping with it for about 37 years. It sent me to the ER twice this year...once in August, once in October. The Dr won't prescribe oxygen, but it's the first thing they give me in ER, followed by a breathing treatment of DuoNeb (Albuterol Sulfate and Ipratropium Bromide) just like I use in my nebulizer at home. I've been on different medications over the years...most of the prescribed medicine from then is now OTC. It didn't work for me then; doesn't work for me now. The Bronkosol and Isoprel that used to really work for me has not been available for years. For sure, I'm certainly "left breathless" at times...and that's when I head straight to "Panicsville." Now that I've made my grand entrance to your nice group, I'm going to start reading your old posts.
