We started several years ago having our big Thanksgiving 'do' on the weekend before Thanksgiving. My two oldest sons live 5 and 3 hours away; my sister's sons live 4 hours away. We never could get all of them home in the same year - so, we started making a full weekend of it the weekend before Thanksgiving. It works!! Our brothers, who also live hours away, always get here, too. It is the one time of year that we all always get together. So, starting today, I will be cooking and cleaning all week, but it will be worth it to have the entire family together for the whole weekend starting on Friday. I'm so excited!!!

That's what I would like to do. It would be much easier.
I will be working so there are no plans for me. Hope everyone has a wonderful time no matter when they have it.
So sorry you have to work. That won't be any fun, but by the time I do all the cooking and cleaning I might wish I was at work....lol.
We aren't doing anything this year. The entire month is 10 hour days at 3 differant stores so by time Thanksgiving gets here I will not be up to a thing and not going to stress trying to get it done. I have the day off so will probably sleep.
I do hope everyone has a fantastic, filling day !

OMG....I sure need to stop complaining about my 8 hour days.
Going to a friends house and taking some dishes with me to add to the menu. We did that last year it was very nice.
She is a awesome cook and loves to do it.
