Darn mud

Now trying to clean the mud.
Now to rebuild where our 'weakness' is & hope for the Best next rain due this Thurs.
Had city workers clean up mudpiles on streets & driveways.
Only 3 home got hit hard.
Now to beef up for next storm.

Been 50-60 F Temp wise.

Rain due thurs? Possible.

NO one saw this storm coming then wham 20 min & mudslides.

For those hillside bound, check Drains, conduits & Clear debris.
Lay sandbags, open up drains etc.
Clear alleways etc for smooth flow.
ALL hillside homes nationwide post forest fire.

Terrance backyards IF needbe.
Add fencing, rocks & mud dams.

The mud topped our mud dams.

Matt, good luck. These are the woes of living downhill of bare unstable land. Your neighborhood needs to put out an allout effort to populate those hillsides above with some aggressively growing plants and put some roots in the ground. Of course these will be fuel for fire several yrs down the line. Every plus has a minus seems like.
