I totally agree. We lost a good man and a fine actor.
This is one I'd like to read. He & his wife were together for so long. I have a DVD movie that they did together involving dance. Great dancing - "One Last Dance".
I would like to read the book, I was very impressed with the way he and his wife went through his last days. :'(
In the book he talked a lot about the making of "One Last Dance" bopeep. I'd like to get my hands on a copy.
Me too, barbie. Very classy.
Another book I probably would not have read -- but I do have a lot of admiration for him and his wife. I'm very glad I read it.
I think I got the DVD from Amazon. I had seen an interview they did when they talked about all they had to go thru to get the movie made. I'm a sucker for him & for dance movies.
Now I'll mention something that I can't tell without sounding pretentious but that's not what I mean for it to be. A few years ago a group of us gals went to London. We all wanted to see a stage show but had different preferences. One other gal & I went to see "Guys & Dolls" with Patrick Swayze as Nathan Detroit (Frank Sinatra played him in the movie). I'm so glad I had that opportunity.
Well, rats, now I'm going to HAVE to read that book!!!!!
Yes, you must, because he mentions going to London and appearing in Guys and Dolls. Lucky you!!
bopeep, that must have been a fun trip and I don't think you sound at all pretentious, so there!
