We bought this place the year before Hubby retired and I retired to move here when"HE" retired. Don't have time to go back to work now. Had 8 years together here before he moved on to his Heavenly Home.

I have now been retired almost as long as I worked...wonder what happened to all that time? I certainly loved my job but this retired business has been good. I remember that I had a lot of thoguths of what I was going to do with the time ...but I dont think that I have had time to do them.

I thought I too wanted to retire. I did this a couple of years earlier than I needed too. In two months ,"I was Tired of being Retired." I called the school system and told them, yes, told them I want to be rehired! I didn't wanted the full job again, I wanted to call my own shots. No paper work, choice of schools and teachers, principal three days a week.
smile. I was doing what I truely enjoyed and had varities of grade levels w/ teachers and principals. It was a joy!

I could turned down those I didn't care to sub for w/out reprimand. It was great. I was there to support my children if needed to grandma sit,
Get into my car and traveled when I wanted.

It's wonderful to stay home and travel and do the things I need and want to do now.
