Reader's Advisory Tool

Something I learned about today at work -- www.bookseer.com. You can go there and enter a book you read and enjoy and it gives you reading selections from up to three sources. Some libraries have even more sophisticated tools -- NoveList lets you enter time periods, subject matter, genre and other qualifiers. It's available online to our library customers; check your library's website to see if it's there, if you're interested.

Thanks for those recommendations. I will definitely check them out as I would like to find more books written during the world war two period, either memoirs, or fiction. Since I was growing up during that time, I love to read bits of history that are basically true that are included in the story.

Hi, thanks for the bookseer idea. I just had the most fun with it, and now have a huge list of new authors to try.

Thanks I have thought that something like this would be good to have but didn't know where to find it. At the door of our library they have lists of books and authors. List as in Si Fi, Christian, Romance, etc.
