First, I sleep on a couch, because a flat bed hurts my back. Second, I sleep in the livingroom so my snoring doesn't keep my husband awake.
I toss and turn all night because my hip hurts when I'm in any one position too long, except when I'm on my back, but then I have sleep apnea and wake up gasping for air. I sleep alternately tightly curled up and sprawled out. And I sleep with my dog because....well, because every time I wake up, she's on the couch with me and I'm sleeping with her.
I don't get much rest at night with all that going on!
I sleep just the same as you, imagine. Sometimes on my stomach with a small pillow under some part of me to relieve the arthritis pain. We used to have cats that would sleep between, or on, my ankles. I don't miss that part of having pets. :o/

I sleep on my side, primarily my right side , but I trade off to the left side to give the right a rest occasionally . I have two huge body pillows and two regular pillows that I stack 3 high parallel to my body on the side that I am facing . I then throw my top leg and top arm across those pillows , which prevents strain and discomfort in my lower back . Then I have 3 pillows under my head with my bottom arm stuck under them and hanging out off the side of the bed .

Wow....you guys make sleeping complicated!
I just sleep on my stomach.....the end. LOL
I sleep mostly on my right side, but if I get up to use the bathroom, I swittch to my left side. Rarely on my back or belly! I also like tucking my head under the sheet.
I sleep on either side or on my back and I use a memory foam pillow which alleviated my frequent stiff neck. I start the night on my back with usually a cat on either side at hip level. Things change as the night progresses and sometimes I wake up with no cats or I'm diagonal across the bed as the cats have moved with me. Good thing it's a king bed.
One of the strange things i do when i go to sleep is tha i have to have the blankets pulled up over my ear. I want my ear covered. Don't know why...i just do.
And i always have a cat at my feet. Since i sleep on my stomach she sleeps between my ankles.
I usually start out on my right side, in a semi-curled position. Sometime during the night I switch to my left side, with the cat on the bed somewhere with me.
I rarely sleep on my back, but most of this week I have been sick with a cold, and have found it easier to breathe on my back.
Lots of nights I just toss and turn, finding it hard to sleep, at all.
I also wake up some mornings....diagonal on the big king sized bed.....I need covers up to my neck, but not necessarily on my ear.....Got lots of pillows, too.

Mainly I sleep on my left side, and when I get to feeling 'stiff' I sleep on my back for a bit, then back over onto my side..curled up.
My husband & I recently bought a sleep number bed on advice from my chiropractor. God Bless that man!!!! Had it about 2 weeks now &, so far, we LOVE it. Both of us sleep more soundly & wake up with less aches & pains. No looking for a sleep number sofa, side chair, etc...
