Paco's Post - Nov 13

On Nov 13 1982 The Vietnam Veterans Memorial was dedicated in Washington, DC. I was living in the area and with my friend Rick who served in the Navy went to see the Memorial. It was sad to see the famous wall with all those names on it containing the names of all those young Americans who died in Vietnam. I lost peoplefromm my graduating class from Plainfield, NJ who never came back alive. War is HELL!
Happy birthday to those born this day including:
Jimmy12 - group member
Whoppi Goldbertg - 1949

My brother was in Viet Nam during the Tet Offensive of '68. He lost buddies. When he went to the Wall, his wife and kids walked away, so he could have his time with the names of those lost.

Yeah, it was hard some days. We were fighting a war we did not know how to fight but we as a nation sure learn quickly.
