Lou Dobbs

The abrupt resignation of CNN’s resident nativist firebrand, Lou Dobbs, was greeted with surprise and relief today by his colleagues at the cable network—and with triumphant celebration by Dobbs’ many liberal detractors, who took credit for forcing the anchorman’s departure.

Fair or unfair?

What's unfair about it? I imagine he lost his audience. I used to watch his program and I liked the program. And then he went into never never land and I couldn't go there with him. If and when whatever took over his mind and body leaves him and finds a new host, I would be glad to watch him again.

Dobbs has no one to blame but himself. He's the one that decided to become a one-trick pony prancing for the hate mongers!

I expect we may see Lou Dobbs over at Fox in the near future?! I used to listen to him occasionally before he started to dominate his guests so much that they could barely get in a complete sentence. I don't see anything unfair about him leaving CNN if the powers that be don't like his brand of journalism.

Maybe CNN has a chance to return to the good news source it was in the Turner days. 'Course I believe in the tooth fairy too, sigh.
