Welcome, fossilsue, I'm so glad to see you joined us! I think you will really like it here!

Welcome fossilsue! We're glad to have you.
Hi Everyone, Thanks so much for all the welcomes! I live in atlantic Canada. I really don't have any unique pets but have lots of wildlife looking down on the stream behind my house. Moose, deer, Herons, mosquitos, ducks, Canada geese, birds and bats, etc. ( I don't like bats!). I have 2 wonderful and spoiled dogs, Buddy & Sunny. They are both shelter dogs. Sunny is a sweetie. She has a weak bladder & is on estrogen off & on. She is 3. Buddy Is my little black friend who adopted me. He has legs about 6" long. We think he is between 10-12 yrs old. They have gotten me through some pretty tough times during the last few years. I have several migraines a week and have been diagnosed recently with Lupus, Sjogrens disease and fibromyalgia. They always seem to understand when I feel overwhelmed. They are always there to cheer me on. One of my good friend's has a pet goat, Floppy, who thinks he is a dog. He runs and plays with her dogs and can't understand why he can't go in the house. Floppy is the one running to the car wanting to go for a ride. He doesn't get to go though.
I guess I do have unusual pets since I collect fossils. Thanks again for your warm welcomes.
You are very welcome fossilsue, we are glad to have you with us. It sounds like you do have some unique pets, Buddy and Sunny! Dogs are so amazing, I think they know when we feel bad, or are upset! Mine have helped me through some rough times too. Again welcome to the group!
I am looking forward to hearing more about Buddy and Sunny. And the fossils, I think that is so neat. Again welcome to the group!
