Suzie, did they give you any parameters of what should be on the cd besides your artwork? If they just want a digital image in order to jury the work or to publish the work on the web, take your art to a local printer and have them do a hi-res scan for you and put it on a cd. Hopefully those running the show have given you the information as to format (jpg, gif, tiff, eps) and resolution (dpi). That information should be enough for the printer to do what you need.
If they are looking for a low-res image be sure to have the printer scan it hi-res (300 dpi or better) and give you two cds, one hi and one lo. That way you have a quality image to reproduce if you choose to.
Hope it helps.

Think it's too big to scan. I have it photographed, I may redo it and put it on a higher res. setting. But I think there are certain parameters that need to be addressed on the CD and I don't know what they are. You know the usual stuff, title, medium, size, etc. It was all pretty specific on slides, you know, even down to the red dot in the upper left hand corner. This is a big profession show, I don't want to blow it be sending in a CD that's not right.

The first consideration which should be addressed in their instructions is whether or not they want a PC (windows) CD or a Mac (OSX) CD, since mac machines can "sometimes" read pc CD but "always" a pc cannot read a mac CD.
I would imagine they'd want a hi res TIFF or GIF image probably or a PDF. I can help you with all three of these concerns including the dimension, medium, etc info and can burn both types of CDs for you from the photo you took if you want. I believe you still have my phone number, or send me a PM and I'll give it to you.
Thanks Robert. I scanned over the paperwork but not sure it said anything about a format. I'm at work but will read again when I get home. I really need to get this thing together this weekend. Appreciate your help and I'll be in touch.
