I collect tea pots and tea cups and have several. I have the teapots on top of my cupboards for all to see and the tea cups are throughout the kitchen in different locations...i keep two pots and some tea cups and saucers in the cupboard for use as well. I am a tea drinker and will often make a pot of tea the way i had it when i lived in England. I have the tea strainer for loose tea and i really love the ritual of making tea. I have a tea tray and crystal sugar and cream bowls and i set everything out when i am in the mood to "make tea". Its sort of a comfort thing for me and brings back so many good memories.
Other days i just set the teapot to boil on the stove and throw a tea bag in a mug and go that route too lol.

I'm definitely a tea drinker. I have 2-3 teapots [using the 2 cup teapot most often] and a pair of nice tea cups and saucers. I also use mugs from time to time as well.

I have a beautiful white bone china teapot set with cups and saucers that have an Irish lace edging fired on them. It is a lovely set. However, I'm not a tea drinker so it sits unused...poor little teapot!

I have a metal teapot that was purchased in Ireland like the ones that they use over there. It makes the best tea and stays hot longer. I also use Barry's tea and I am in heaven. Also own some beautiful cups and saucers. I have one from when Queen Elizabeth was coronated and a new one from her anniversary. So gorgeous. kathleen

I have collected tea cups for several years, and I too have a cup and saucer from Queen Elizabet;'s coronation. A dear friend brought it to me from Canada and it still has center place in our breakfront. My daughter gave me a lovely tea pot. Come join me, I'm brewing
Earl Grey.

I have a teapot, plate and HAD a teacup and saucer from when Prince Charles and Lady Diana were married to commemorate the marriage.....i just lost the teacup and saucer the other day when one of my really naughty cats got up on the cupboard and knocked it onto the floor...i was soooo upset!!!! At least i still have the teapot and the plate. I also have a teacup and saucer from when King George VI and Queen Elizabeth (Queen mum) visited Canada that my mom found for me at an antique shop.

These days I just go the mug route. I like to put my hands around the warm mug on a chilly day. I'm not a big hot tea drinker, however. I do love my iced tea in the summer in one of those heavy glass "canning jar" mugs.

My daughter has a collection of pretty tea pots and cups and saucers but she seldom uses them. On our "wish list" is a nice glass doored china cupboard to display them.

I used to have an oriental teapot and cup set. The cups had no handles so you could warm your hands around them. I used the set a lot in winter but gave it to my granddaughter when I moved from Ohio to Georgia.

When I do make hot tea, I prefer a tea ball and loose tea to a tea bag.
