i understand that the sentence handed down was a year of probation.. whether the man was worth it or not is subjective, but i certainly do believe that there are both men and women who will do extraordinary things in the name of love.. wonderful, beautiful things, and terrible, heartbreaking things.. love is an emotion not to be taken lightly..

I believe the female perp was also married.
As byrd has demonstrated many times on this site..........finding a man is equivalent in difficulty to finding a unicorn..........and equally as satisfying.. This is good news for many of us........the low hanging fruit is thus still a treasured commodity ( my fruit is hanging lower every year )....it's good to be a man! Shower everyday, support yourself, and don't hit anyone............puts you in the top 1/4 of men........the bar is set pretty low ..........mostly if we do no harm....we are good to go.
Wow NNick- that was an amazing thing to say. I was just getting ready to give you a hard time for calling me a box of birdseed-- but with that you melted my heart a little and now I cant muster any huffiness.
Anyway- guess folks have their own definitions of 'worth it' and 'love'-- but in Byrd's dictionary when you go around personally assaulting potential rivals it moves from love to mental instability. (Was this the woman who wore a diaper so she would not have to stop for bathroom breaks on the way to the assault?)
crazy.
Save yourself the hassle and hire a hit person. Piece of cake.

Well she denied that she was wearing a diaper and...I wasn't there so I don't know.
Was she unbalanced? Duh! I guess the more valuable question to have answered would be why or how she became unstable. She is a very intelligent woman. It's a shame and a waste.
I don't see it as "love" at all...but I agree people have done amazing things in the name of love.
NNick, you silver tongued devil, you calmed our Texas byrd!
Perhaps, JG...butt is that really a bird seed box? It looks rather generic to me ;p

Yes, it was the same woman who wore the diaper and Yes, NNick that was an amazing thing say.

I know that was claimed at the time Frankie. I'm just pointing out that she denied it and none of us were there to know for sure.
Varsha, I've met the Texas byrd. Calming her is no easy thing. Just ask CG, or a Vegas bus driver...
...Frankie...ya hafta admire that woman for her thrift, and sense of economizing time; perhaps she was a bit over trained, just sayin'....;p
