Get the hell away from him or her!!!!
Probably call the store manager when I got home, give the name, address, phone number and identifying characteristics of the shoplifter and then block his number. from my phone.
I would be so shocked Id probably say out loud - take that out of your pocket and put it back - and it would be the end of it and the end of us. There is other ways to get attention then to steal something. Its so wrong....
I agree with gni...let the people in the store know he/she is a thief, why wait until you are safe at home to do the right thing? Would you ever want to see that person again anyway?
Get the heck away and check my jewelry..LOL And I wouldn't be trailing behind..I would not tolerat that especially if it were a store I shopped at also when alone. The company one keeps.
That would definitly be my last date with them. Aside from the fact it is totally wrong, you could also be charged as an accessory to the crime if you knew about it, especially if you were driving the car that day. I'm not going to jail for anybody....no how....no way!
Say goodbye fast..when he decides to move on he will shoplift something from you...Better count your money..and not go shopping with him anymore.
I wouldn't even bother with a goodbye. Two wrongs don't make a right. Never have, never will.
Sounds like everyone here has "zero" tolerance for shoplifting. It probably is wise to separate yourself a.s.a.p. from a person who steals because it might not be long before you are implemented in their crimes. Knowing that someone I am dating is a petty thief would be something I could not tolerate especially if they had the financial resources to pay. This person most likely has entitlement issues and serious character defects.
