Chris9346 - surgery

Just to inform you all that Chris9346 one of our great moderators went in this morning for knee surgery. She will be in the hospital for a short stay then to rehab. Chris does have her laptop computer with her and will try and get online when she is up to it.
I am sure that all the members of this group wish her well and a fast recovery, Lets all add to this post so she has something nice to wake up to.

I will keep you posted as time goes on.
Chris we wish you a speedy recovery.

Chris update:

I spoke with Chris this evening and she is doing well after the surgery. A little pain in the leg but otherwise doing ok. I will admit although she said she was doing ok, she did sound spacey. She was not fully out of the anesthesia.

Thsnk you foryour good wishes and thoughts for my surgery.It went very well and I am very little pain at the momnet. The protocol is for an epidural with a lot of pain ned to the knee. Then I was sedated...didn't know what was happening during surgery. I woke up alert and without Pain...my onl peobpen so far is low blood pressure.

The Chris Report!!
I just spoke with Chris. They got her up to walk today and now she is in pain. They have her on Morphine and she is really spaced out. Didn't stay on long with her. If all is well on Friday, she will go to rehab. I seriously doubt that she will be on the computer much.

Just wanted to keep you posted.

Thanks Joel,

Sorry to hear the pain is worse today. Hopefully they will be able to control that better. Knee surgery is tough stuff. I have some family and friends who have gone through it and it is quite a process from the surgery to rehab. Wonder if they will get her stretching in a warm water therapy pool. A few of my friends have done that and swear it helps a great deal. Thanks for the update.

We really do have a great club here! You will do great Chris! One step at a time. Before you know it, you will be throwing fetch toys for your labbies, I just KNOW it.
