Vacation travelogue
Celebrations- everything from birthdays to Thanksgivings to wedding reception.
School field trips
Or go totally different and show the not so nice parts of your area. i.e. tenements, graffiti, pot holes
Signs- use some kind of theme like, they all have the same word in them or they have a person's name(like Long JOHN Silvers or BEN and JERRYs) or traffic signs
Yard decorations.
Set up your tripod or rig one up and show yourself reading a book for a child in your life. Added bonus: you could send that child a copy of the movie and the book. Great for grandparents, aunts and uncles who live away from their small loved ones.

Here's an idea. How about interviewing our elders? "Dad, tell me what it was like to be a pilot in the barnstorming years." I once talked for a good hour to my mother in law about all that she had to go through just to wash clothes on the farm in South Dakota. Everyday stuff... Wish I had that on film. If (like my mom) they say, oh you don't want me on film you could let them know you'll mostly use the sound track and fill in the rest with photos, maps or pictures of the treasures she's talking about. Just sitting with a photo album can get the memories and stories coming. Unfortunately, now I'm the elder generation.

I enjoy "doodling" on 'puter, computer generated art. The putting it together with story board. (WMM)
